I have a large number of books; three bookshelves full to be exact.  I used to have four + bookshelves full but I weened out my collection and sold some to the half priced bookstore for about $ 20.00.  As I will be moving in a year and really don’t need all these books I have decided to try to sell the majority of them.  I was not impressed with the $ 20.00 from half priced bookstore that I received last time for my books so I am investigating other options.  I could sell them via amazon.com for a fee of 39.99 a month and a % of what I sell each book for.  The fee chart can be viewed here.  I also have the option to sell via half.com wich is connected to ebay now.  As far as I can tell there is no monthly fee but they do take a % of what I sell also.  Their fee chart can be seen here.  There is also the option to sell them via craigslist.com but I am not sure how popular that is a site for people who want to buy books.  My goal is to sell the books and keep most of the money for myself.
