Dzogchen 

A veces la vida parece muy sola en su soledad.  Intento hablar con ella pero me mirra callada.  Toda esta fuerza para forzar algo solo para sentirse conectado a alguien que no le importa.  Que complicado se hace la vida los seres humanos.  El punto es respirar y vivir cada instante como si fuera la única; solo o junto.

Tibetan protests have come to light due to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.  The British PM has announce he will not attend opening ceremony due to the recent fiasco of protesters attacking the Olympic torch in London.  While the Olympics should just be about athletics and having the absolute best competitors compete it seems it always has political unrest.  I found an interesting article about a recent monk protest.  You can read it here.  Never underestimate the value of freedom.

De cluttering your life is a great step on the road to letting  go.  While it is hard to go from having possessions and to do lists that control you to having nothing.  There are some interesting web sites that have some good ideas on how to de clutter aspects of your life.  They are Lifehacker and Zen Habits. 

Remember it is not a task goal orientated of declutterification but a process that you should enjoy and feel liberated.

Today while working I listened to the Podcast Typical Mac User Podcast #73: Life Hacking with Steven Stanger.  Below are some of the notes I picked out.

 

Uninstall unused programs

Clean up desktop (desk desktop and computer desktop)

 

Archive non daily used files (take out of documents folder and put in an external hard drive) archive nostalgia.

 

Limit email time (you may need to re-train the people around you of the fact that there is a phone or they can also walk to your desk if they want an instant response.)

 

Transcribes what you narrate and can update to twitter or a blog. Jott.com

Goal setting is an evolution of ideas not an answer.

The word Bodhi means to be enlightened or awakened.  Thus the tree that people meditated under became known as the Bodhi tree. 

I came across a great concept in my studies that has helped me a lot.  I cant remember who said it.  Later I will update this post and give credit to the originator. 

When you feel disconnected from someone because you don’t understand how their actions can lead them on any sort of positive path, a good attitude or concept to keep in your mind always is that everyone else has the same goal; they are just trying to accomplish it a different way.
